Applecross Pippa 21D -1182910-
Applecross Pippa 21D
Polled Full Fleckvieh. There is always one heifer that is tougher to part with than all the others, and this year it is Pippa. Pippa is the first calf of Applecross Piper (one of our top young polled cows), and is exactly what we strive to produce for our replacements: loads of volume and capacity, while still retaining neck extension and femininity, to form a complete and balanced female. Pippa is also the first daughter to sell out of our polled heifer bull APLX Rambo, and we just love this combination of the Eagle Ridge Unbelievable and Spruceburn Pauline cow families. Dark red, pigmented and a one-shot AI to Dora Lee Eclipse, Pippa should have a long future as a front end female.
Selected by Starwest Farms, Calmar, Alberta for $30,000. Thank-you Ken & Carrol Warkentin, and Christel & Steve Humbke!
