Our farm ‘Applecross’ is named for the Scottish peninsula of the same name. Located in the wilds of Wester Ross, on the western shore of Scotland, Applecross is said to have been derived from the Gaelic word “A’chomraich” back in the 1500’s. This translates as ‘The Sanctuary,’ the perfect description of what we strive for our farm to be—a peaceful place in tune with nature, where our cows can turn grass into meat and milk.
