Full Fleckvieh. Emerald is a nice and tidy heifer that combines plenty of volume and capacity while still retaining neck extension and femininity to form a complete and balanced female. We have had the privilege of watching seven generations of this cow family develop, originating back in 1992 with SRN 2Y through to Emerald’s dam, Applecross Eva, a powerful Pharao daughter. Emerald is closely related on both sides of her pedigree to our Applecross Emma heifer that was our high seller at last year’s sale, going to Beechinors at Bentley. With a moderate frame, and lots of pigmentation, Emerald has a bright future in front of her.
