APLX Jackson 3Y is a heavily pigmented, smooth shouldered bull from a young SU Painter daughter that we selected from McMurtry’s as an open heifer. Pictured here as a first calf heifer, she has developed into a nice, moderate framed cow that produces big calves come weaning time. We are very pleased with this Jake son, who cranks up the volume while offering a very modest birth weight. Quiet and tie-broke, Jackson has tremendous eye appeal.
Jackson was the highlight of our 2012 Red Deer Simmental Bull Sale entries. He was selected in the 2012 by Westgold Farms / Ken Gilbert for $12,000. We look forward to seeing Jackson work in the fine herd that Ken has developed up at Minburn.
