Back in 2003, when Dad was developing Dora Lee’s polled program with Dora Lee Elexis, I suggested that she be flushed to the old classic bull, Sim-Roc C&B Western. From that flush, Dad got one calf; this polled, star-faced beauty. When we moved to Alberta in 2006, Dora Lee Evangaline was a natural fit to become the foundation cow of our own polled program. To date, we have 3 daughters and two granddaughters in our herd, with her 2011 calf – APLX Samson – being one of our walking bulls.

Evangaline is a maternal brother to Dora Lee Eclipse, who is leaving his influence as an easy-calving, coloured right, cow maker. Dora Lee Elexis also followed her daughter to Alberta, as she was purchased private treaty by Anchor D Ranch, Dan & Karen Skeels.
