Tasha is a tidy Porterhouse Regent cow that we selected from the Hiemstra dispersal in 2009. We were actually hoping to purchase both Tasha and her dam, CEN Ms. Paisley, so that they could start their own foundation family here at Applecross. However, Paisley was one of the high sellers that day, so we couldn’t bring her home. While we didn’t get both mother and daughter that day, less than two years later, Tasha has given us two daughters that are walking our pastures. Tasha gave us a nice heifer by CEN Throttle the first time around, with Gidsco Appollo siring the 2011 model. Her 2012 model is also an Appollo, this time a bull, but once again at the top of the calf crop.
