Homozygous Polled.  Full Fleckvieh.  Sometimes we have calves that just name themselves, and such is the case with ‘Zorro’, who’s pigment comes down over his face to create his ‘mask’.  His dam, Parview Ms Rayen, is fresh off producing our high seller at the inaugural ‘Shades of Fall’ sale last fall in Applecross Rachel that sold to the BBBG Group in Quebec for $32,000.  Zorro himself is moderately framed with a small head and smooth shoulders – somewhat unsurprising as we have ‘tested’ his sire, Viriginia Journey, on select heifers over the past 2 years, and are now comfortable using him as a heifer bull.   Zorro is backed by a powerful cow family that crosses with an exciting sire to create a really intriguing package.
