We don’t say it lightly when we suggest breeders will need to travel a lot of miles to find a homozygous polled bred heifer with as much natural volume and shape as Deirdre.    A late February bred heifer, Deirdre just exploded past her pasture group, and now gets to spend ‘time-outs’ away from the grocery aisle in the lead up to sale day.    Her picture showcases her unique combination of femininity and style, but she really needs to be seen in person to admire how easy she carries capacity through her barrel.   With five generations of the APLX prefix behind her, and a cow family that we have been working with for more than thirty years, Deirdre is an awesome example of where our program is headed.   There is simply so much potential in Deirdre, who combines great disposition, shape and femininity, and is carrying what is sure to be an exciting calf in January!
