A big volume heifer that exhibits plenty of style, Cindy is a complete package. Cindy’s dam, Applecross Celine, has been a steady performer for us, putting sons in our bull string, and selling a daughter in Equation 2023 in Applecross Cassidy to Emilee Oro/Skylark Simmentals. We selected Cindy’s sire, Virginia Journey, as the high seller at Bull Spectrum 2023 for $30,000. We were intrigued by the Synergy-Radison cross, and had followed the Willow’s Jade cow family for many, many years. His early progeny have been very impressive, and after some testing, we have even successfully used him on heifers! Carrying an early AI exposure to Cavill, Cindy may just produce that ever elusive heifer bull prospect that seemingly everyone is looking for.
