Biggio is the last calf from our cornerstone cow, APLX Poppy 1X. Poppy was often the first cow picked out on pasture tours, as she carried that ideal Fleckvieh build in a 2,000lb cruising weight package. Over the years, her progeny have been well represented at auction, including ‘Wrangler’ who was selected by R-Five Simmentals at the 2018 Red Deer Bull Sale for $18,000 and ‘Penny’ who was acquired by Virginia Ranch from Equation 2019 for $14,500. Biggio is a heavily pigmented, burly young rascal that, much like his dam, simply goes about his business. A no-nonsense type of bull, Biggio should balance the scales and provide strong maternal traits for replacement females and heavy steers to go to town each fall.
