Lyanna is a very long bodied female, a trait that clearly traces back to her maternal grand-dam, DLD Lady Western 48R.  While I tend to pick on Jeanne for consistently vetoing the P-Line, I should admit to keeping five ‘Lady’ daughters working here at Applecross.  Even with five daughters in the herd, it is still difficult to part with this grand-daughter.  We really like this WowEffect- Delmonte combination, as the cross just seems to work.  It is no surprise that the bulk of our WowEffect females got bred Delmonte this spring.  Lyanna is a nicely put-together female from a strong cow family, which maintained perfect udders.  She will be a great addition to any herd.
